Brussels: the seafood world capital for a few days only.

Brussels traded its famous beers, waffles and chocolates to become the capital of lobster and shrimps for a few days. The city hosted Seafood Expo - The world's largest seafood trade fair and The Art Department was there.

Based on the success of the stand that we produced for Macduff Shellfish at previous events the brief was for us to further develop this so that it could work for both Macduff and Canadian based Clearwater Seafoods who purchased Macduff for £98m back in 2015.

Working directly with Clearwater, the Art Department delivered a stunning space that catered for the stand requirements of both companies. The main focal point was a 4m tower that featured a 9 screen video presentation (developed by the Art Department) behind reception. It also formed the backdrop for the chef’s demonstration area on the reverse side.

Overall the event was deemed to be a great success and the client feedback on the stand design and functionality was all very positive.
